We are honored you are considering a Gunter Gables GSD. We are focused on producing quality West German show lines and are happy to help you on your journey to find your next family member sport, or show prospect.

We breed for excellent bloodlines, great temperaments, and fully genetic health testing. Our breeding dogs are owned by us and living their best life as part of our family. We have been breeding since 1990 and we focus on quality not quantity as we only produce a few carefully selected litters each year.

We carefully screen all of our breeding stock for any genetic predisposition‘s such as hip dysplasia elbow dysplasia etc. and remove any affected dogs for my breeding program. Though there is never 100% guarantee that to fully health tested dogs cannot reproduce a puppy with a fault it is far less likely that health tested parents with a good Pedegree will produce genetic faults. Our dogs have their hip and elbow testing through either SV (Germany) or OFA (Orthopedic foundation of America) in USA. Our dogs are all DM Clear.
